      Pros

      Work with latest technology Collegial atmosphere (at least when I was there) Good working relationships in IT, good people Open office design Centrally located (Merchandise Mart - right on the river, in the River North area) Accessible by public transportation (El stops right at the Mart) Interesting industry (work with vehicle information)

      Cons

      I think middle management has their favorite worker bees You are at a disadvantage if someone on your team has more of your project manager's ear than you do Don't like calibration exercises - everyone in management discusses you; forms the same opinion of you Pays fairly well, so you may end up staying longer than you should

      Pros

      Excellent co-workers. Fair benefit and compensation package. Good networking opportunities. Great location in one of the most beautiful buildings in Chicago.

      Cons

      A psychotic management team that has "cleaned house" just before the holidays almost every year they've been in business. The bonus structure is heavily weighted against any but the "elite performers" making the full amount available. Creativity is stifled and the good of the customer is not the real goal.

      Pros

      CCC is basically a call center both inbound and outbound. There is opportunity for advancement. They offer a nice benefits package. We never have to work Saturday nights or Sundays or holidays. The raises and bonuses are based upon your individual performance so the better you do, the more money you can earn.

      Cons

      Everyone has to take turns working the late shift or a Saturday shift.
