Unfortunately, the top management running the Cerritos office has created an unbearable, unhealthy culture of fear. A god complex leaves said management firmly believing they are simultaneously a world-class UI/UX designer, product manager, developer, and manager capable of driving efficient and effective software development. Instead, they have driven a manager to a literal nervous breakdown, forced employees to spend most of their time churning on revisions of materials to present to him in a way that won't send him into a complete tirade, and have stifled any spirit of independent thinking and creativity that his team might offer. Employees are exceedingly underutilized, micro-managed, motivated only by fear, and mistrusting of senior management.

There are many. Perhaps a better experience than mine and many of my colleagues is possible at HQ. Titles there are inflated. Everyone is a “senior” something. Otherwise, satellite offices are largely treated as inferior. Management changes direction constantly and cannot stick with a decision; employees deal with the consequences and are overworked and stressed. Most interactions are highly political and territorial, so there’s little communication among the leadership. There does not seem to be any sensitivity toward employees, either from HR or management. Most of the worker bees that I interacted with left, either voluntarily or involuntarily.
