Always behind, so much work, too small staff, pay scale is 20 years behind most everyone. Great State benefits.

Pros
Benefits of NH State position; quality of insurance coverage, pension, time off. Union membership optional, worker in most departments were very friendly.
Cons
Hierarchy was incredible; high stress, low rewards or recognition for your dedication, low pay compared to most everywhere else. Some department heads lived in their own world, did not care about time constraints and personnel limitations.
