Great mentoring from your managers and peers. The CDM Smith team strives to deliver high quality work to their Clients. You get to work in an environment in which people truly love what they do and take great pride in it.

Cons

The company is at an awkward growing point where it is figuring out how to grow the business but also serving the people who do the meat of the work. We are trying, but it is a lot of growing pains right now.

-Strong commitment to recognizing individual excellence. If you do something worth being proud of, the higher ups will be aware of it, and you will be rewarded. -Healthy work-life balance. Working 8-hour days is the norm and your career will not suffer if you don't put in 60-hours. -Flexible work environment, challenging/stimulating work, client-focused.

Cons

Young engineers don't get a lot of opportunities to do design, compensation in a city like Miami should be higher
