      A decent place to start out if you have a good manager.

      Pros

      You can start at this company with little or no sales experience and they will give you an opportunity to prove yourself. Without the right manager, you are left on your own, so it is very manager dependent.

      Cons

      Little instruction or real teaching about specifics of selling to your sector. There is no support, so salespeople spend a lot of time clearing transactions, taking time away from selling - other firms delegate this to back office.

      Great first job for fresh graduates. Technical training program was very comprehensive.

      Cons

      Demanding hours, unfair distribution of accounts - if you are liked you get good leads/accts. Very limited room for advancement.

      If you have the right manager, CDW is a great place to work and achieve career growth and to make a decent wage.

      Cons

      Too much of your career depends on who your manager is, and if they like you or not. If you dont have a manager that supports you it is impossible to suceed here.
