      Good people for the most part Util and realization are workable numbers Technical depth is very deep

      Cons

      401k Teams are disorganized Title based hierarchy creates fallacious divisions of labor Advocates for money (customers) over sustainability of staff Business skills depth is shallow

      Pros

      CDW loves to hire new talent. It is a great job to gain lots of knowledge of the industry and get your foot in the door. At times the incentives from various vendors can be exciting. Given plenty of resources to get trained on every aspect of IT.

      Cons

      To begin, the pay is awful. In CDW, you have an opportunity to make lots of money but you need to be in the right vertical or market segment. Since it is so easy to get a job at CDW, the management has a tendency to treat the employees like high school students. They monitor your every move at times and have seen it get so extreme that it's caused people great anxiety. They don't utilize their employees to their full potential and focus everything on sales. When entering the position they tell you that you can easily move around in the company if sales is not your thing, but it's where you must start off. What they don't tell you is that you must be great at sales in order to move to one of the positions that better suits you.
