Pros
I suppose the one thing I can think of is your benefits are immediate.
Cons
This upper management is out of their minds! They worry about all of the wrong areas and work by intimidation. It as if they come in to town and walk around like celebrities or something. I'm guessing it is an ego thing with those particular executives. The good and talented people I worked around were not offered advancement and everyone seemed to have the same negative "I hate being here" energy. It was a very tough thing to walk into everyday.
