Pros

Speaking on behalf of the weekend shift in building two: The employees are friendly, and the work culture is inviting. Operations Management does their best to accommodate the needs of both the business and employees. Ceva is a low-stress work place, with reasonable production rates. General working conditions vary depending on changes in weather and business season. Peak business seasons require mandatory OT, which can be good to those who like OT, but conflicting to employees who cannot work weekdays.

Cons

An area that desperately needs improvement in my opinion is HR. Ceva is a very diverse workplace with many different cultures. HR needs to find patience and develop a more effective way to communicate with employees. On-boarding seems promising with comparable pay rates and benefits to other industries; however, employees are unaware of other benefits that Ceva offers (e.g. Rewards program, educational assistance, PTO balance/accrual rate, etc.). Additionally, mandatory weekday OT puts a toll on employees that are in school, have families, other jobs, etc. Regarding the off-boarding process for employees who resign or are terminated, exit Interview questions are inappropriate as they pose questions that are only directed to supervisor/manager experience. These questions do not ask for the level of satisfaction of the employer to the company, but rather ask questions that no matter which way they are answered can shine a negative light on operations management.
