Pros
Awesome benefits. Hourly pay is decent. Very strong safety culture. Company is looking to implement new technologies for growth. Any reimbursement due to employees for business expenses are paid promptly. Extra curricular training is made available to employees such as first aid/CPR/AED. In combination with annual Hazwoper training, it gives operators as much (if not more) skills to responding to emergencies than first responders.
Cons
Operator advancement is not a priority to upper level management. Hiring process has too many people involved. Too many hurdles for new hires. Implementation of new technologies often lack direction. Implementation and initiation of new directives often lack direction.
