Learnt a lot straight out of university.
Friendly members
Good benefits including pension
Cons
Large place, you can feel a little lost
Hard to move around the company into different projects, can get a little political when you express a wish to move to a different project.
CGI offers very interesting projects with the ability to work with very knowledgeable people. On certain projects it's possible for more junior members to take up key roles in delivery allowing for a good knowledge sharing and quick internal progression.
Cons
CGIs promotion and member recognition schemes are pretty poor in recognising the contribution of employees. It can often leave people feeling underappreciated and left out. This in my experience often leads to people ceasing to overachieve and put in less effort.
