Pros

Hours tended to be more predictable than other companies in the industry, although there were exceptions. Likewise, the company tended to be flexible for working parents.

Cons

This company feels much larger than it really is. The company has grown quite a bit in recent years, but it is not nearly as big as it feels. If you need to find a phone number for a department- good luck. If you're on the federal side, jobs that don't use Momentum are few and far between. If you don't want to do Momentum the rest of your life, don't stay at CGI Federal more than a year or two, as your job opportunities outside of CGI will become limited to Momentum, as well.

Pros

mediocre benefits. HSA is the best thing.

Cons

many broken promises--no differential, paltry raises if any, promoting leads who have no clue what to do other than micro-manage. inability to take vacations due to vacation freezes. poor working conditions. don't work for a company that interviews new hires in the break room, in front of everyone else.

Pros

Friendly people, number of paid holidays if you work for the federal side, unlimited sick time

Cons

Unlimited sick time - seems to translate to call in any time you want- making the workload fall on others and management is very very very slow in getting rid of slackers thanks to HR. The workload is excessive if you are an exempt employee- no work/life balance. Limited growth. Pay does not correlate to hours required.
