Pros

Good work environment Decent compensation package

Cons

There’s a risk of becoming pigeonholed within narrow skill sets, especially in consulting roles. This can inadvertently limit marketability over time. Opportunities for up-skilling or broadening capabilities are often constrained by project assignments, reducing long-term growth potential. The resourcing model can feel transactional—akin to a Rolodex—where your relevance is directly tied to the demand for your current skills. When those skills no longer align with client needs, you may be sidelined without a proactive path forward.
