      Great people, good company, low pay

      Pros

      I love the people I work with and taking vacation time is easy and encouraged. Management is great and understanding. Stock options and 401k is great. Lots of opportunity for innovation and the company highly values it. Tons of resources to improve your skills if you take them.

      Cons

      CGI pays peanuts. I make less than entry level after working there for 7 years. Benefits have also started lacking over the years. I pay out of pocket for anything that isn't preventative. (Though preventive is covered 100%)

      *There is Flexibility and Global Opportunities

      Cons

      * Tremendous segmentation and overlap in management leaving a culture of lose cannons with little to no oversight. * Company only worries about the next contract and fails at growing and servicing contracts already in place. * Many in management demonstrate little respect for their employees. * Benefits are horrendous and continue to decline.

      Pros

      They are a big company and they get contracts. You can meet some good people on the contract.

      Cons

      They underbid contracts to get them. The onboarding process should be called waterboarding. I have never seen such a mess. Next the management has no backbone and no loyalty. They do not take care of their employees. Medical benefits are a joke with a high deductible plan. Deductible is 5k before they pay a penny and for a family it was 450+ a month. Really a sad company. Out of the 12 people who started the contract with me 0 remained after 7 months.
