Pros

I’ve been at CHG Healthcare for almost 10 years now, which honestly says a lot. It’s been a really collaborative place to work, and more importantly, it’s a company that actually cares about its people...not just as employees, but as humans. I had a personal situation come up recently that required me to be out on leave longer than I expected, and the support I received during that time meant everything. There was so much understanding, flexibility, and genuine care, it never felt like I was just “another employee.” It really showed me that CHG walks the walk when it comes to putting people first, which is pretty rare these days in corporate businesses. Because of that, I’d absolutely recommend CHG to anyone looking for a supportive, people-first company with a strong team culture.

Cons

Things can definitely move fast, so you have to be okay with a bit of change. Collaboration is a huge strength, but it also means more voices in the mix, which can slow things down sometimes. And when it comes to career growth, it’s there, but you do have to speak up and advocate for yourself along the way.

Pros

CHG is generally a fantastic place to work. People overwhelmingly really care about each other. Leaders try to do the right thing by their people. CHG has fantastic benefits, perks (e.g. on-site healthcare) and a beautiful HQ in SLC. It provides opportunities, paid VTO, and grants that allow employees to make a difference in their communities. The work we do--placing healthcare providers where they're need most--is meaningful. When CHG had to shut down its RNN division in 2024 due to volatility in the travel nurse market, it went to great lengths to mitigate layoffs, moving hundreds of people into other roles throughout the org. There truly aren't many companies out there that would do that.

Cons

As it's grown into a large company it's become more bureaucratic with a lot of layers, decision makers, and red tape. It's also a high growth company with private equity owners which means that things can feel like doom and gloom even when revenue is outpacing the market but just isn't hitting forecasts that are often unrealistic.

Pros

Working at CHG Healthcare is genuinely rewarding, and it starts with something that's hard to find — a company with a strong, authentic purpose that shows up in the day-to-day work. My role drives real impact, and that sense of meaning makes a difference. The people who tend to thrive here share a few qualities: a growth mindset, a genuine love of collaboration, and a curiosity that keeps them learning. If you're purpose-driven, adaptable, and energized by connecting with others, you'll find a lot of like-minded colleagues here. I've been given real opportunities to grow — not just in title, but in scope and responsibility. Just as importantly, I've had the space to take risks, fail, and learn from it. That kind of trust is rare, and it accelerates development in a way that a "play it safe" culture simply can't. At the end of the day, CHG is a company that genuinely cares — about its employees and its customers. That's not just a tagline here; you feel it in how decisions are made and how people are treated. Highly recommend for anyone looking for more than just a job.

Cons

Would love to see more people in the office to collaborate, problem solve and build connections.
