Lots of various benefits

Pros

I speak for the Christus HQ in saying the company provides lots of benefits and activities if you love being a social butterfly. The PTO balance is more generous than any place I have known so far and it's given all up front. Special things like earning points for gifts or extra cash is nice. Plenty of room for growth and skills as you more than likely will assist another area in there work at some point. If you are someone who loves being involved in many things then this is a great place for you.

Cons

Rate of pay seems on the low in for higher roles compared to other companies. They do not offer any remote work even with the success of working remote during the pandemic. Raises are given based on "how your performance was over the year" and isnt very much. Overtime is not usually something they like but due to the pandemic there has been alot but otherwise it can feel like your rushing to get work done when OT is not approved. Teams tend to share responsibility when they are behind or have a lot of workload which is not what you signed up for. Learning a new skill is great if you want that opportunity but is a burden when its on top on your workload and you are drafted to help. Also it is no secret the company is Catholic which if fine but having to go through a legitimate religious service when getting the job was not ok with me. I respect all beliefs but work/religion in my opinion should not mix.
