      Its a job and you'll get paid.

      Cons

      I've worked for Christus twice and it was always dangerous staffing ratios (skeleton crew). I felt at risk of losing my license.

      Pros

      Steady pay, always incentive and opportunities to work overtime.

      Cons

      Always short staffed, company doesn’t seem to value nurses or it’s employees , raises are minimal if any, given allotment of PTO up front then due to constant short staffing it was difficult being allowed to use PTO so you lose it, benefits are subpar.

      Selflessness can cause burnout

      The mission is rewarding. The people are good.

      Cons

      Promotes the marter mentality. Nurses are expected to sacrifice everything because the patients and mission are so important. Easy to get burned out, because there is so much expected of nurses with little appreciation from management.
