Pros

Pretty good work environment. People are super friendly. You learn a lot. There's a bar on the ground floor. VP is very accessible.

Cons

Sometimes feels a bit bureaucratic but that's the norm at most banks.

Pros

Big corporation offers lots of benefits: health and life insurance, dental, vision, gym at office. There are some advancement opportunities if you work tirelessly and are willing to change roles as you advance within the bank.

Cons

Base salary is not competitive in the larger Chicago market. Bonuses are decided behind closed doors by executives you may have never met and you do not have a chance to negotiate for yourself after your hire date.
