Pros

manager is not behind your back, you have your own space, they have the best insurance benefits in the country for dental and medical, also you get a bonus in your last year pay check for your performance and depending of profit cibc made that year. Excellent job advancement opportunities.

Cons

extremely stressful, depending of your position you might have to sell to clients benefits, insurance, etc... you have to be alert at 100% at all times not to make mistakes. Every move you make on the computer is screen and type recorded, all managers have real time access from their desk to see what you do on the computer, you have caps to reach in number of calls received, sales, and quality assurance. you don't get paid enough for all the hard work you put in, so do just the minimum.

Pros

- No expenses spared when going through associate program - Online learning courses are not very relevant but still useful - Discretion of portfolio in the hands of the manager - Working with wide range of business great experience in gaining useful knowledge

Cons

- Low year over year pay increases; Low variable incentive pay - Dated computer software makes working some jobs much longer than they need to be - Some things just seem to be done backwards, but I think that is a problem in any large orgnaization
