Pros

Great benefits, great pay, and loyalty to employees makes this a company to work for over many decades (many have).

Cons

Because everyone has been there so long, the crowd tends to be of the older persuasion, have an older mindset and mentality, and they play a lot of politics that often leaves you feeling overachievement is not appreciated. They also are usually late to the game in terms of cutting edge technology used.

The pay is really good. It's a good union job and it's stable. It's a good job to get your foot in the door.

Cons

The pay is high but you will work pretty much every single day of the year because management cannot train people correctly.
