Pros

Growth within the company, Everyone listens to your grievances and ideas to help the company, Employee’s ideas are actually implemented, low turn-over in showroom and corporate, Friendly and fun work environment, Co-Workers are always willing to help, The discount and partnered discounts are AMAZING!, LOTS of opportunities to earn extra cash, Belief in work/life balance is awesome and encouraged.

Cons

Pay is a little low (however they are open to negotiation), Drivers/warehouse workers aren’t treated like the “faces” of the company, Company insurance plan is beyond ridiculous for any hourly paid worker to pay

Pros

The company OVERALL is okay. The facility is well maintained and the cafeteria has good food.

Cons

I worked as a manager in training. Like I said above, the company as a whole is okay but there are departments which I wouldn't recommend working within. Departments which will make you wish you never accepted the position in the first place - the warehouse particularly. The training program for managers is poorly designed and executed. I was only given four weeks before they threw me onto the floor to manage 100+ associates. During that training period I was paired with individuals who should never have been given the role of training a new manager. Some did not care. Others were poor communicators. And the entire training consisted of verbal dissemination of knowledge which didn't cater to different learning styles. No time to absorb the information or let it sink in. Furthermore, they didn't have the necessary login credentials for the various systems prepared for me beforehand, so I had to borrow other people's credentials and every other day I had to pick up a new system even if I was already on the floor officially managing. Foresight was practically non-existent. Management seemed more concerned about filling the vacant position and their own promotions rather than laying the proper foundation for success for new employees. I worked in the warehouse as a trainee. It is very hot in the warehouse and is filled with 99% males who can be very aggressive. My shifts were 12 hours from 5am to 5pm leaving little time left in the day to do anything else. I hated coming to work every single day and is not a place for college graduates who wished for better things in their lives. Not too mention favoritism exists and back-stabbing normal. Management will take sides and throw you under the bus if they have to. They don't stand on principle.
