      Learn lots of people skills Great way to start your career (if your looking to grow in a manager, interior design or marketing role) or wind down from your career for extra money

      No professional development You compete with managers to make your sales and it effects their support towards you No room for advancement, takes over 10 years to get promoted, seniority feelings and outside friendships with management has a say so in your possibility Office Politics is Very High No 401k match Insurance Premiums High

      Pros

      The work environment and employees are a pleasure. Always room in their management program and there are many opportunities to come, as City Furniture expands to the North.

      Cons

      Being as it is sales, the floor can be a little crowded at times with sales associates. As far as being a manager, it's difficult to handle circumstances they way we should. Protocol requires us to go through customer service, passing the customer along, leaving room for error and lost translation.

      Great pay and good hours with a reliable source of income in the resources you need to be successful, and make it pass here 30 days ( most people don't make it that far)

      Cons

      No let me tell you what is really like, you have to have little to know life in order to make it past your 90 day probation and possible. To keep your job even after that this job requires lots of commitment such as coming in on your days off and working an extra 6 hours only on pure commission by the way you also work all weekend no exceptions whatever you do make this a last minute decision to work here.
