      Great associates to work with and always something different every day

      Cons

      Commission is low. Overwork managers with little bonuses. Expected to sell as much as a sales associate while still doing all other management tasks such as training, inventory, and customer issues.

      No Work-Home life Balance Allot of work hours Not enough support on how to reach those sale goals very deceiving sales associates.

      Thank you for your feedback. We are currently working on improving our sales training and on-boarding. One big part of the change is our focus on initial training and more hands-on coaching. I'm sorry to hear you did not get this while you were here, but we are working hard to make sure that we provide the resources associates need to be successful. Our goal is to provide the right training so that associates can be successful while only working 40-45 hours per week. As a family spirited culture we want our associates to enjoy a good work/life balance. Thanks again for your feedback!

      Pros

      In sales, everyday is a new adventure. Involves design and creative aspects. We love friendly competition and motivating each other. Plenty of room for growth within the company. Strong presence on college campuses and strongly believes in college recruiting. Very involved in giving back to the community and "going green" initiatives

      Can't think of any cons - City Furniture is always looking for ways to improve and is open to hearing opinions from every department.
