Pros

CLEAResult consistently hires really smart & driven people. Plenty of room for growth across early careers up to management level. Flexible vacation & work environment. The majority of external clients are wonderful to work with.

Cons

Many positions are eligible for a bonus that increasingly becomes more unlikely to receive each year. Despite the growth in employee count over the years, the structure and organization of departments is still largely malleable and without written documentation. Far more focused on financial metrics than employee engagement, retention, or growth. Communication is infrequent. HR department is virtually unseen. Other shared services like IT & Marketing are subject to cuts without the protection of direct revenue.

Lots of opportunity

Pros

They say the grass is always greener...this isn't always the case. My greedy self left clearesult for more money and what I thought at the time more opportunity. This company was always great to me and my employees. If only I could turn back time, I would of stayed with them. They offer fair pay and immense opportunity as they are constantly expanding. Besides the fact I took issue with a couple of their hiring decisions, it's an amazing company to work for. I hope soon I can tuck my tail between my legs and go back.

Cons

Engineer-centric. Need a centralized program start up plan.

Growing Company

Pros

I currently work for Clearesult. The company seems to really care about their employees. The Portland office has a great vibe and the people are a lot of fun. Most of us work in cubicles, which is a nice open work space. The city views are spectacular from our office space. Lots of office activities planned by the green team. I like that my manager lets me work from home some days, especially when things get crazy with my family. Great worklife balance. The breakroom is huge and stocked with coffee. The new CEO is very down to earth. We are passionate about energy efficiency and proud of it.

Cons

The company grew through several acquisitions last year. So many new faces. The company was without a CEO last year, which added to the lack of good communication about vision and company culture.
