Descent pay, good benefits, company really cares about the employees. Being a part of a Fortune 500 also is something to be proud of.

Cons

Job gets stale. Advancement can be challenging as not many of those openings open up very frequently. Very conservative company.

Stable company with good benefits, vacation time and excellent pay. If you show up on time, leave on time and rarely call in sick - you are golden.

Cons

Seems to have missed the boat on cultivating their internal talent. Upper management seems to ignore the skills that their employees are best at - taking intelligent people and pigeonholing them into roles that do not challenge or utilize what they are best at . Once overheard a Sr. Exec refer to their employees as "a bunch of monkeys" WOW - Tell us how you really feel about the people you have doing jobs you have no knowledge to do yourself?! Places people in supervisory roles with zero emotional intelligence who have no experience dealing with direct reports.
