Pros

Some great lower level management employees, but a big communication gap to the corporate decision makers

Cons

Everything they sold us on, turned out to be a sham unfortunately. The company you work for isn’t your family. Treated like a number, and laid off without a single performance review or reason.

Pros

- A lot of independent training resources available - Tools for LO's (CRM, Credit Simulator, Marketing Platforms, etc.) - Comprehensive & extensive loan programs: various loan programs that will serve nearly any & all homebuyers

Cons

- It takes SO VERY LONG to get files through the underwriting process! 3 days from the time a file is submitted to processing to be sent on to underwriting, and God forbid the processor have any questions -- if so, you're looking at an entire business week between the time a PA is received and the file being sent into UW. Then, another 3-5 days for the underwriter to review the file. 3-5 days for appraisal reviews & 3-5 days for CONDITION REVIEWS! By this timeframe alone, you're nearly looking at the term of the contract & that's assuming there are no hang-ups or delays (borrower, appraiser, getting VOE's, etc.). - SO VERY LONG FOR FILES TO GET THROUGH THE NORMAL UNDERWRITING PROCESS! This makes it very difficult for LO's. - Communication between internal teams is lacking, especially underwriting & LO's, or underwriting to processors & processors then to LO's. - 4-5 days for a response from the helpdesk or training team on a file question, system permissions that need addressed, scenario desk feedback, etc. Nearly one week to trouble shoot a file that should have been resolved in an hour! - VERY minimal support overall! - Onboarding training is like drinking from a fire hose the first week. Then, you're on your own. Normally, that's how I prefer it to be. However, with such slow responses from other teams, it has made it incredibly difficult and frustrating. - Managers don't respond to texts, emails, or phone calls until a day or two later. - Minimal time available to spend learning other available platforms because so much time is spent troubleshooting, gaining proper access, processes, etc. - Switching processors 6 times in 4 months. (UGH!) - Being forced to take a draw paycheck every two weeks (that will be reduced from commission checks). This is especially frustrating when first starting out. - Direct managers that have a large book of business personally & don't have the bandwidth to properly manage LO's.
