No growth, low pay

Pros

The workspace is nice. Currently, my team is hybrid, which isn't remote but is better than 5 days in the office. The benefits are nice, and the overall company culture is nice.

Cons

The work isn't hard, but the unnecessary back-and-forth makes it stressful. Severe micromanagement is disguised as playing it safe. Work gets overshadowed by how much you chat on Slack. Growth opportunities are rare and based on when someone in the next higher role leaves. Even then, growth isn't guaranteed, and multiple people are going for one role. A lot of effort and energy goes into the work, and it doesn't pay off nor feel impactful.
