      Pros

      Flexible work schedule. Generous pension plan. Good insurance. Great people for the most part. Recently updated company vision to focus on customer and instituted leadership expectations.

      Cons

      Leadership lacking especially in ITS. Looking for CIO, but having difficult time. Not enough collaboration at all levels of management. Few female leaders at upper levels.

      Good people meaning to do well. Strong financial position.

      Cons

      Small-town parochial outlook of firm. High expense ratios lead to high pricing. Agents focusing more on financial products than insurance products which form core of company. Firm may have challenges adapting to changing insurance market with increased expense pressures. Name recognition low in many states--often confused with Countrywide.
