Pros

You sit at a desk all day taking phone calls. I think your experience depends on the agent you work for.

Cons

Agent might make you cold call leads (if so, they will tell you about a test to become licensed in P&C and don't tell you in the interview). They sell it as an easy office job but with rates going up every client is calling complaining about their increase bill or agent not getting back to them within a day. Country does not provide health insurance for you, period.

Pros

Sign on bonus and benefits. Ability to work from home.

Cons

The culture is circa 2005. They have very high turnover and don't spend much energy on developing talent. Don't expect much as far as recognition. Most employees are in a hurry to post out once their year is up. Metrics are always extremely important but that's all they focus on or care about. They treat employees as expendable.
