pay is excellent, overtime after 8 hours, can easily make $1000 a week, decent equipment

Cons

no set schedule, you don't know where you are going or when you are going until day before. first 6-8 months is on call, work is extremely physical

Great pay and benefits through this teamsters contract. Home every weekend is great, when applicable. Equipment is long term lease, and sometimes kept up to D.O.T. standards

Cons

Dispatch and management are out of touch with realities of otr driving. Home every week means 34 hours for a restart if lucky, half the time you leave on a rolling dispatch.
