The company is great to work for. Benefits are amazing.
Cons
The Department Director assigns employees the workload and responsibilities of multiple people without additional compensation, then emphasizes that going above and beyond is expected—again, without extra pay
Okay Life insurance and 401k. The principals know what they were doing.
Cons
CPH's architecture department is the most horrible work environment I have ever been part of. Here are the reasons why I left: - Disrespectful Coworkers. Yelling and throwing doors on a daily basis. - The compensation is ridiculous - Boring prototypical projects. If you enjoy the design process and challenging design issues, this place is not for you. - Careless HR managers - No Work Life balance - Lack of licensed architects. Principal was overloaded with work and no time to handle it. - All the attention is focused on the engineering department. Why do they even do architecture? - No advancement opportunities. Some of my former coworkers were stuck in the same job position for 7+ years.
