Pros

They pay their employees on time

Cons

Where to start....I worked here for 5 years and it was the most stressful and toxic work environment I've ever experienced!! From the top down, Management is concerned with one thing...who has a better title and how to scheme their way to more money. From day one, the executives were absent from the day to day activities of the company, and unwilling to address work culture issues. Upper management spent their time fighting for power and authority and sowing divisiveness within the ranks. From experience I can honestly say, the only way to move up in ranks is by cozying up to the "Teacher's Pets". Time after time, I watched good employees come and go, many were asked to leave because they didn't fit the culture (in other words, they attempted to implement good standards of work and working relationships). Most of those that were asked to leave, were done so upon false pretenses and the company has no problem making false or misleading claims in order to save a couple of bucks. The company also does a lot of "Restructuring". While normally this would be an opportunity to re-align roles in order to best serve the customers and employees, it is usually a way for this company to eliminate good workers and pay the upper management and executives more money.

Pros

Above average pay, decent benefits

Cons

Where to begin? The C@O technical architecture is a mess. It's piecemeal and hard to wrap your head around because of how much turnover has taken place. Consequently, there's a ton of technical debt that never gets addressed. What needs to happen is a complete rewrite of their system. I was there for a year-- it was supposed to be my job to plan out a cloud migration which never took place because of the mess. Culture: Middle management leans pretty heavily right-wing. The new director wasn't very visible and didn't make much of an impact during my time there. Management made a lot of "COVID Conspiracy" jokes, which I found completely inappropriate and offensive. My direct supervisor was pretty overbearing. When I turned in my notice, I brought these issues up with the CTO. She listened, but then I felt chastised by her when she said I shouldn't have gone over my bosses' heads and brought the feedback to her. Guess what? I didn't feel comfortable bringing the feedback to my direct supervisor, which is why I brought the feedback to the person I _did_ feel most comfortable with. The company always felt like they were in fire-fighting mode, which meant that a lot was done manually, rather than actively seeking out opportunities to automate. I didn't ever feel like there was really a way to contribute in that fashion.
