Bad Work Environment

Pros

Management pretty much left me alone to do my job as I saw fit within guidelines and standards. Salary was competitive and benefits were decent.

Cons

Highly political atmosphere. It's definitely a place that requires you to "suck up" to get promoted. Management is quick to throw employees under the bus, too. One of their core values is "fun." It used to be fun; nowadays it's anything but fun!

good and bad

Pros

Great benefits, pay, and for the most part nice people. They do work very hard and show up for diversity and inclusion.

Cons

Horribly fractured management and processes. Everyone thinks they have their own best answer on the way to do things. They have no problem spending time and money on feel good socials, getting to know you, and talking up teamwork and leadership. However, when it comes down to it each region is very different and both corporate and projects won't spend the time and money building processes, training, and infrascture to ensure quality.

Unprofessional & Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Work from home policy was the only redeeming factor

Cons

All your vacation you take for the year counts against your billable hour ratio. For example, most employees ration is 90%. if you take your full 4 weeks of vacation, you will need to make up that time by working 4 weeks extra for free. if you don't, your billable ratio drops to 60% and you will not get a raise or promotion for next year. Many of my former co-workers are you constant fear of being let go due to a lack of work and management has been know to horde work for themselves to make there billable hour ratio better and leave their team with no work. Colleagues from all offices have experience every type of "ism" behavior that you can think of with management turning a blind eye in the name of quarterly earnings or to protect the "Boys Club"
