Great company. Good Benefits. Plenty of "headroom" and opportunity to move/relocate.

Cons

Growth by acquisition creates a "power vacuum" requiring years to organize. Lots and lots of reporting.

Pros

Lots of opportunities for professional development paid for by the company (depending on your manager). Lots of long-term employees. Ability to work independently without being micromanaged. Fully stocked kitchen w/ snacks, occasional catered lunch.

Cons

Opportunities for advancement seemed to only be for the guys who fit with the guys in charge. If you're not Irish, I don't think they really care about you. Lots of arrogant people in charge. No diversity whatsoever and I think they prefer it that way. People way too uptight. Poor communication from the top down. Senior managers don't always make themselves available to the little guys. Boring and predictable work environment (forced monthly birthday celebrations and such.)

Experience. Challenging position with opportunity to advance. Well connected company with a strong fnancial porfolio. Very clean and modern facilities.

Cons

Set me back years. No support for plant managers. 27+ hour days. Production employees are vastly over paid and under educated. They threw me to the wolves. Position was nothing like what was told to me. Shady under-handed stuff going on there in Anchor South.
