Pros

Some flexibility....... That's about it.

Cons

I've one of the Nielsen people, worked for years until Nielsen outsourced us to Crossmark. The job was a joy until Crossmark took over, now its one nit-picking thing after another, with poor management and little attention paid to employees. There's much less flexibility allowed, the mileage allowance is an absolute joke and no raises are given...only bonuses to management. They're having a hard time hiring and keeping employees due to relentless demands and inept administrative staff. I fear they will destroy what's left of Nielsen.

Pros

**Independence** Nice Pay Rate Meeting new people daily

Cons

Low morale upper management NEVER has anything nice to say. Promotion is all about who you know not performance. NO RAISES EVER!!! Low bonuses. Lack of proper training- ES don’t know what to do Managements doesn’t know what to do. CONSTANT POLICY CHANGES this job and its duties change from week to week. My district manager has no college degree and used to be a waiter before he became MY manager. Sales team assigning events the day before the event is supposed to take place and expecting coverage. NO REAL OFF DAYS. Crossmark is a joke.

Pros

Pay checks are on time and you has some flexability in making your own schedule. It is better than having no income. It beats no job, but not by much concidering how much the company wants you to pay for out of your pocket.

Cons

The company is cheap!!!! The company wants you to purchase cleaning supplies( duster, 409, zip ties, etc) out of your pocket. The mileage reimbursement policy sucks; They want you to drive the first 40 miles and first hour to your first store and the last 40 miles and hour home from your last store visit are on your dime. THIS SUCKS!!!!!!! The company also makes the routing for store visits to favor the company, you lose the ability to take advantge to arange the visits to take advantae of company driving policy. There are no reviews, so there are no pay increases. This too SUCKS!!!!!! On the company's web site under the About us tab and under values, they say they "respect and value peope, their time, their points of view, and overall needs. Treat all associates, sllientsd other individuals with the utmost dignity." This is all talk, because Crossmark does not walk the walk!!! If this statement was true the mileage policy would be much differnt. This is just one of many bad points about this company. Bottom line, A job at Crossmark beats no job, but not by much.
