Pros

The paychecks are on time and pay is weekly. I enjoy working with little or no supervision in a variety of stores. People in Field Support are very helpful once you get through the wait time to have your call answered.

Cons

You are usually hired full time and after a few months you are dropped to part time losing the benefits you paid for health; dental as well as vacation pay and sick pay and personal days. With the cost of gas it is ridiculous that they expect you to drive @ least 40 miles out and 40 miles in before the pay mileage. The system they use to pay you mileage is not an accurate reflection of how you route and drive your route. It's a sham designed to ripp off the employee for the benefit of the company. There are no pay raises but there are pay decreases (as I was told "for the good of the company"). Continual griping by your supervisor even when you are busting your tail for the good of the company. Lack of communication with upper management. Lack of hours and they still hire new reps. all the time even though they could give more hours to the hardworking dedicated people who make Crossmark successful.

Pros

For my area the pay is decent. Meeting new people and trying new things.

Cons

My area is on our fourth regional supervisor in six months. The original one was great. Very accomodating, helpful, good communication with crews and a sense of humor. The next one only lasted a little over a month, but she seemed as though she would be good. Next along came one that transferred from being a Sams Club supervisor and was horrible. Endless emails, constant nitpicking, threats. When hired we are told that we should be available to work Thursday - Sunday if you are a Walmart ES. With this last supervisor you would be scheduled for days that you had not agreed to work (even at the last minute) and she would never even email you to see if you could do it. Very, very pushy, demanding and no respect whatsoever. At one point she scheduled me for 10 out of 11 days in a row with no warning whatsoever. Last night I happened to notice that the space where our supervisors name and number is shown on our internet site was blank. I called field support only to be told that we have a new boss in this area and no one even had the courtesy to send out an email or anything else. Oh yes, don't expect any raises, even if they promise them, you will not get it. It's a job that's ok if you are in tight circumstances and need some money fast, but don't even think of depending on it.
