Pros

The benefits are good and fair. My fellow workers are very good to work with and helpful. The physical workplace is comfortable and comfortable.

Cons

The pays not up to par for the simalar work and raises nonexistent. Very unrealistic goals are expected. Feedback is mostly negative and good performance not appreciated. Senior management is out of touch with the workers and they are not available. The technology is very unreliable and most frustrating to work with.

Pros

We offer great products and services! Our claims process is incomparable. We still command a decent percent of market share and are stable. Our pay is comparable. We have many offices in diverse areas. Our new main office, Station Landing in Walnut Creek, CA is wonderful! Green, comfortable, not austentacious. It has all the perks. We have a wonderful and committed staff.

Cons

Job security is non existent. Call it optimization, call it reorganization, call it what you like, what it equals is conscientious, hard working, committed people lose their jobs. And those of us lucky enough to keep one attempt to pick up the slack. We do not have enough people to do a consistently good job anymore. Those of us who work with the customer directly operate in a vise. We are pushed on one side my upper management to make the customer experience everything it should be, and pushed by the customer who rightly expects their needs met, but we don't have the technology or the human resources to get the job done. The frustration level is off the charts and fear walks with us constantly. Everyone knows it, employees and customers alike. The ELT can and do, direct us not to let it show, but we are out here with the customer every day. The customer experience is not hypothetical for us.
