Friendly and helpful colleagues. Emphasis on learning and individual growth. Benefits begin on day one. Good place for a foot in the door.
Cons
Managers are entrenched in archaic management techniques. Constantly understaffed with high volumes of work even though CSC charges the government 3-4 times more than what they pay their employees that are doing the work. Many directors/managers have a "tenure ego" that gets in the way of productivity. Pay is lower than average among companies of the same industry. Typical corporate ladder environment; lack of room for internal growth and promotion.
