Terrible upper management, little concern for employees quality of life, constantly reducing benefits
Pros
Allowed remote work from home
Cons
CEO is completely disconnected from the reality of day to day operations. His only concerns appear to be for his bonuses and for maximizing shareholder profit. While this is understandable (it is after all a publicly traded company), he does so at the cost of severe detriment to the employees and their families. He fails to take into consideration that his short term thinking will have long term negative consequences. The decision to maximize profit by providing 401k company contributions solely on an annual basis was nefarious at best. Then to lay off thousands of employees at the end of the year, during the holiday season, just to avoid paying out these contributions, is one of the worst examples of selfish greed I have ever seen in corporate America. Due to the mismanagement and abysmal planning of contracts/bids and the severe rate of layoffs, many, if not most personnel now work in excess of 50 hours per week just to accomplish their day to day requirements in order to keep their jobs. Quality of life at CSC, thanks to Mike Lawrie, has plummeted to an all time low even for CSC
