Lack of aggressiveness in winning business

No formal progression or promotion process in place - you will be told there is HR tool kit for this but if you rasie one you get told there is a form to complete, yet this is hidden from line managers and only supplied when needed. Line managers do not know how often the progressions or promotions can be put forward to the board. It should not be a secretive process Last year the people that were promoted via compentcey group did not recieve a pay award yet were apprasied at their new compentancy group level despite the company taking nearly 6 months to award the promotions. l was given a good bonus percentage to make up for the limited payrise that could be awarded, when the company did away with bonuses and put a one off payment in flex package l lost out financially. This amount boosted my total salary package so when pay awards do happen l dont benefit as much and l get no bonus! Project managers do not get paid for working additional hours/weekends unless a special payment is rasied by line manager and approved by god. Line management cannot be done properly as the company does not allow line managers the time needed to do it properly, this includes travelling to meet your reports. People are being apprasied by people they have never meet, they depend upon the feedback supplied for the empolyee and base their judgement on it. As an employee you have no idea what pay bands you can achieve in your global role/contribution group. Even if you ask your manager you get the brush off
