This is the worst managed company that I have worked for in my career. For the vast numbers of employees there are relatively few decision makers at any level because they are scared to think outside the box. The managers agree to whatever austere measures executive managment throws at them in order to keep their jobs.
Mike Lawrie is running a shell company right now full of consultants who have become the decision makers regardless of the consequences of the decisions. He has wrong headedly allowed them to suggest and lay off people based on their age, salaries and length of time with the company when many of these employees were performing the majority of the work in their areas. As people were cut, in many cases their work has never been picked up because nobody knew how are what to do.
Employees have been disrespected for years by being forced to take vacations with little notice, expensive health benefits, frozen pensions (none for new employees), lack of advancement opportunities and discriminatory practices are the norm.
