Pros
1. Opportunities galore 2. Growth is possible laterally and vertically owing to the sheer size and variety of opportunities 3. Space given to employee to learn and perform 4. Freedom to chose roles is available, though not guided
Cons
1. Salary not consistent with the industry or commensurate to experience of individual 2. Recruitment done based on organization need and hence decides start salary of individual. If you joined when you wanted to, you get a salary that the company wanted to give, whereas, if you joined when the company needed you to, then you get a salary that the company needs to give to retain you..essentially like every one else. No change expected here. 3. Hierarchy is way to stifling and all pervasive and the HR is not willing to break that strength 4. God forbid you end up having a fight with your manager that does your appraisal, you can be assured of losing a lot more than a good job
