It is work in your field so you gain experience and time in grade. You will learn how to work under pressure in adverse conditions.

Cons

At some consulting firms managements purpose is to market the employees expertise to clients who have a similar need. CSC's current management wants to turn everything into widgets, products for sale. They see employees as a cost not as a resource.
