      Pros

      Flexible schedule, good pay, safe environment, wonderful staff, great students, good work/life balance. Generally a great place to work.

      Cons

      A lot of politics within the departments. They care too much about GRE scores when determining who gets TA positions, when that test is not really a true measurement of someone's intelligence.

      Sense of support from department can be lacking Feels too compartmentalized between Writing Center, department, and administration Compensation should be more competitive for the work that is done; comparable tutoring jobs pay more elsewhere CEO and upper admin of university are cutting down on library resources
