Pros
I worked over 2.5 years at Environmental Health and Safety department at California State University Fullerton. I was very well trained in the areas of General, Chemical, Biological and Radiation safety. The acquired skills were effectively employed to establish and enhance safety culture on-campus. All the safety personnel within the department truly cared for my growth within the field. The experience at EHS department helped me acquire a job right after my graduation.
Cons
It is an educational institution. Hence, some may or may not be able to adjust but people there make sure to make you part of the campus community.
