Pros

Acceptable rate of pay. Adequate benefits package. Pension program available.

Cons

Hostile work environment. May be on call 24-7. 2 hours to report to work when called. Hard on one social life, family, friends, etc. Management seems more interested in aggressive discipline than employee development.

Just toxic

Pros

Good bonuses typically, but you'll earn every penny with your blood sweat and tears

Cons

With the new leadership in place you might as well be working for the mafia. The environment is soul draining and ruthless. They expect 60+ hours of work/week and are looking at headcount everyday, so basically you're competing for your job on a daily basis. Management is out for themselves and could care less about the growth and advancement of their employees. People who advance are done so based and brown nosing and climbing over others, not on skill or experience. So you better put up and shut up. If this is your thing than you'll be a good fit.
