Community Focused and Employee-Centered: "What stands out most about CSX is the company’s commitment to both personal and professional development. The leadership is extraordinary, with a CEO who truly cares about employees, their families, and communities—especially during events like Hurricane Helen. I feel supported and valued at every level.

Cons

CSX is a large, established company, which can sometimes make it difficult to implement rapid changes. While there are excellent initiatives in place for employee development, it can take time for those changes to be fully integrated across all levels. But this is the same for any organization.

Pros

CSX is an exceptional company that truly cares about its employees. Here are just a few reasons why I love working here: • Great Work-Life Balance: The company understands the importance of balancing work and personal life, making it easier to manage both effectively. • Opportunities for Advancement: There’s always room to grow! CSX encourages professional development and provides ample opportunities for career advancement. • Career Path Flexibility: Whether you're looking to stay in your current role or explore new paths, CSX supports employees who want to switch career tracks. • Justifiable Pay Scales: The compensation is fair and aligns with industry standards, ensuring that employees are rewarded for their hard work. • Reliable Team Members: At CSX, you're surrounded by supportive, dependable colleagues who make teamwork enjoyable and successful. • Open Leadership: The leadership team is approachable and transparent, creating an environment of trust and collaboration. • Employee-Centric Values: CSX values its employees and consistently strives to create a positive, inclusive workplace where everyone’s contributions are recognized. • Wonderful Benefits: From health coverage to retirement plans, the benefits at CSX are top-notch and cater to employees' well-being. • A Company for the Long Haul: CSX is a place where you can build a long-lasting career, with plenty of room to grow and thrive over the years. Overall, CSX is a fantastic company that truly values its people and invests in their futures. It’s a place where you can see yourself for a lifetime!

Cons

I don't know if it is my positive attitude or the environment but it is difficult to think of cons for working at CSX. If I had to I would say: • There’s a growing expectation for employees to work from the office five days a week, which might seem challenging for those who prefer more flexibility. However, this policy fosters stronger collaboration and in-person connections, which can lead to greater innovation and team cohesion. • The workplace culture is built on high standards, with colleagues holding each other accountable. This may feel intense at times, but it pushes you to grow and deliver at your best. If you thrive in a competitive, results-driven environment, this will be an excellent fit.
