      Pros

      Over 20 years of service now contract employees are worthless.

      Cons

      They find any reason to fire you. I hate my job, it's now a poisonous fear environment. I'm constantly threaten about job performance. Csx have cut jobs with less people and with less time to do the job they want more work done.

      Outstanding dedicated employees coupled with decent benefits.

      Cons

      Shift work like most transportation jobs. Many managers feel that if you're not perfect everyday you are simply being negligent. Advancement process is sketchy.
