      benefits, training, team work, salary, flex hours

      Cons

      no matter what work you perform, how well you do- others dont and it really is not addressed- dont know whats going on there but its going downhill fast- esp in intermodal

      Pros

      The company offers a great medical benefits package. As for leadership, most races outside of the Caucasian race are afraid to be a part of the management program prior to gaining seniority in some other trade, because of the Company's mistrust and track record.

      Cons

      Females are totally ostracized, African American's are totally unwelcomed , male African Americans are tolerated and are very non-vocal in an effort to maintain their jobs. Many will not pursue training and those that have tell the stories of being passed over and over even though they've exceeded the training, education, and qualifications required.

      Pros

      There's plenty of jobs to apply for. Work-life balance is good for the office type jobs. Comp and benefits are good.

      Cons

      Not so much diversity in the workplace. Its a glass ceiling for minority women regarding promotions. The promotions are based on who you know, if they like you, and whether you fit the corporate color. They encourage you to speak up but concerns or issues but be prepare see that your career is at a halt. Bad behaviors are rewarded. Inconsistent performance management. I've been in both union and management positions. If it was up to me, I rather work in a union position that makes more money than managers and less of the bureaucracy.
