      Good pay and benefits for an entry level position, but they come with a price

      Pros

      Good pay, benefits, and opportunities. Lots of room for upward movement if you want it. Can be done in a relatively short period of time. Good relocation package and retirement can't be beat.

      Cons

      The job is not condusive to family life. The management training program is 6 months of living in hotels with no guarantee of placement upon completion. Most transportation managers work about 60 hours per week. Has a political corporate culture common in most big businesses.

      Pros

      Pay when you work, free insurance for one year.

      Cons

      CSX will hire too many people, then cut you off from assignment due to the lack of work and over populated terminals. Be looking for another job at all times. Manager are there to ensure you are doing your job at all times, so you will be tested by them breaking the rules that they tell you to follow.
