Pros

I came into this position with experience, and it was nothing I expected. FOr CVS to be such a big company there was no leadership or assistance because of how busy everyone was, and you have to learn on the fly.

Cons

no training, leadership is clueless, low pay for what they are asking of you, NO work life balance they want to be on 24/7. Have to sign into your computer New Years at 12AM and then take meetings on weekends.

Pros

My teammates were the best! Always willing to help because they understand how difficult this position is.

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, NO TRAINING, Management doesn’t know what they are doing but will hold you to unrealistic expectations when you haven’t been trained. You literally are responsible for everything. A lot of micromanagement. Starting NewYears Day you work 14 days straight. 7am meetings everyday from 1/1 to 1/15. A lot of people take LOA or quit during Welcome season due to stressful work environment. Managers talk behind each other’s backs and most of them have no clue what they are doing but expect you to understand. Directors have asked co workers to not take LOA and just take PTO, which they are not suppose to do. Work/Life balance is not a thing. If you are in the hospital, doctors office or just on PTO management and leadership will contact you To get updates on your work!!! PBM client implementations is the worst job I’ve ever had. Underpaid and over worked. Dont’t do it, I promise you everyone is burnt!!!
